Heathrow is one of the busiest airports in Europe. With Terminal 5 development, the number of passengers are expected to grow by over 20 million per year.
E-Motive Display has supplied over 800 dot-matrix displays for use in over 140 lifts at the airport's new Terminal 5. The displays were specially customised for this project using high density, 1.8mm dot matrix modules, with an extra bright super-amber colour for better visibility. The units were complete with encoder, voice synthesis, ultra-slim gongs and EN-buzzer. This ensured significant cost savings on wiring for installation and future maintenance.
