| The 55 story mixed-use building occupies a full city block in Manhattan's Plaza District and is one of the tallest in the city. It houses a combination of office, retail and residential space. 731 Lexington uses the Multimedia LCD elevator display. |

| Saudi British Bank in Saudi Arabia |
The British Bank of the Middle East (predecessor of the Saudi British Bank) was allowed to open offices in Jeddah and Al Khobar. Its clients however were mostly new foreign oil workers and not locals. Complaints about local banks of high charges and poor service forced the authorities to take some action in the mid-1970s. The authorities decided that the bank 60 per cent of the shareholdings would be domestic operations and parent company retains the remainder. The British Bank of the Middle East, then became the Saudi British Bank. In 1980 the Saudi British Bank opened women’s branches.
